The banked slalom course is dug entirely by hand! It takes about 3–5 days to build, depending on the weather and how many people come to help. It’s to the racers’ advantage to come up and dig the course because they can ride it as much as they like before race day, and they can put their individual input into how the course is designed. If you want jumps or step-downs in the course, come up and build them!
