It all began with a group of women who simply wanted to have fun—riding with friends under the spring sun in the mountains. Coming together, celebrating the end of winter and holding onto those last turns of the season… in bikinis. What started as a joke on a chairlift quickly turned into, “Well, why not? We can pull this off.” We met up, built a rugged course, and just ran with it.

The women who represent BBS come from all kinds of backgrounds - big mountain competitors, boarder-cross racers, backcountry powerhouses, banked slalom queens, park rats, board builders, photographers, artists, moms, sisters, daughters, and women who just wanted to be part of something unique and outrageous.

And just like that, the Bikini Banked Slalom was born in the spring of 2022.
